Rock Star 101 – Class Is Now In Session
On the morning of September 22nd, following a seven hour drive, we arrived in Dallas for our On The Rocks club gig the next day. The previous gig in Wichita, Kansas had gone really well judging by the crowd’s reaction, but compared to the shows in California and Arizona things were on a downward slide that got progressively worse. It started with our bus driver Dave, who left us stranded at a truck stop during the 16 hour trip from Arizona to Glendale, Colorado. He simply pulled into the rest stop in the middle of the night while everyone was asleep, packed his things and disappeared, never to be seen again. On top of that he made off with $400 in production money. Rick and Sanctuary had to scramble to find a new driver, who showed up in the morning and put the pedal to the floor in order to make up for lost time.
